Your Secret Identity is the Cure for Guilt

Newborn foal snuggling her mother with text overlay: Now you are ‘born again,’ fresh as a newborn colt and as innocent as a babe adored by its mother (John 3:3)

Many of My children say they are just sinners saved by grace. Untrue. You were a sinner; you are now saved by grace. And because of that, you are quintessentially good.

Are you overwhelmed with guilt? My apostle, Paul, agonized over his own sin. In Romans 7:24, he cries out: "Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death?"

But the identity of sin in Romans 7 is no longer yours. The moment you received Me, everything changed—you now live in My victory and freedom.

In fact, Paul goes even further: He says that when he sins, it is no longer him! "So I am not the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it." (Romans 7:17) "But if I do what I don’t want to do, I am not really the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it." (Romans 7:20)

How can this be? It means being a sinner is no longer Paul’s identity (or your own identity) at his core. His true self—and your true self—has been recreated to be the righteousness of God in Me (2 Corinthians 5:21 GNT). There is now no condemnation for those who are in Me.

Approach Me without fear—freedom from guilt is My gift to you, and like any gift, the giver desires that you delight in it.

Though at times you sin, goodness is now your true identity—the core of who you are. Your feelings about yourself, may waver, but truth does not change. Now you are ‘born again,’ fresh as a newborn colt and as innocent as a babe adored by its mother (John 3:3).

The struggle with sin in Romans 7 is over—now you live in the victory and freedom of Romans 8. Rejoice and abide in Me, for you are safe and fully acceptable.

Do you believe that I have fully freed you from guilt? What holds you back from embracing your true identity in Me?

With love beyond measure,

You are my Favorite as if you were the only one ...

"You are My favorite," I say to you—not in comparison to others, but as though you are the only one I love. My love is not a cold theological concept; it is a consuming fire, full of passion and intimacy. I give all My attention to you as if no one else exists, yet this does not diminish My infinite love for others. Do you see it in Scripture? I spoke with Moses “face to face, as one speaks to a friend” (Exodus 33:11).

Only I, in My omnipotence and boundless nature, love each person with ALL My love, fully and completely. I give all My unending love to you personally. Even though I love everyone, it is as if I love no one but you.

So next time you think of My love, picture it that way—just you and Me, sitting together, Me gazing at you with unwavering adoration. Don’t write off My love as some abstract, theological truth spread out to everyone impersonally. While it is true that I love each and every person, My love for you is personal and unique, just as a parent’s love for each child is unique and irreplaceable.

Feel My love pouring over you—its warmth, its strength. Feel My breath on your face, My hand lifting your chin. I endured the cross for this, for you. As it says in Isaiah 53, I bore every wound, every stripe, so we could have this relationship. My sacrifice was not out of duty; it was out of passion for you.

So, the next time you feel unloved or inadequate, stop, be still for a moment and remember this: The depth of My love is as scandalous as it is infinite. Let it fill every corner of your soul and know that you are cherished beyond comprehension.

Revel in this love. Revel in Me.

With love beyond measure,
