God's Peace in My Chaos

Abba Father, I come to You with a heart that feels worn and a spirit that has weathered more than I know how to carry. Some days the weight of sadness rises like a tide, and fear stretches deeper than anything I can name. In those moments, I feel small, unsteady, and unsure of my next step.

But You are the One who meets me in the dark places. When I cannot see clearly, be my eyes. When my strength is gone, stand where I cannot. When doubt presses hard against my chest, hold my faith for me until I can breathe again.

Anchor me when the waves rise. Steady me when my courage falters. Draw me close when I feel lost in the storm.

Hold me still, Father. Let Your presence quiet the chaos inside me. Let Your nearness remind me that I am never abandoned, never unseen, never left to fight alone.

All I truly need to know is that You are here. Your love is my shelter. Your mercy is my rest. Your heart is my home.

Keep me close today, Papa. Let Your peace settle over every trembling place within me and let Your strength carry me where mine cannot. I trust You. I belong to You. And I am not alone.

With love beyond measure,

Jesus

Cyndi is a Christian writer with a heart for grace and freedom in Christ. Through fresh reflections and scripture‑rooted devotionals, she invites readers into rest and relationship. She longs for those who see themselves only as “sinners saved by grace” to know they are truly good in Christ, and for those who strive and battle, to hear that the fight is finished. Her writing is shaped by the promise from Isaiah 40:1–2 — God’s call to “Comfort, comfort My people with gentle, compassionate words. Speak tenderly from the heart to revive those in shame, and proclaim that their warfare is over. Their debt of sin is paid for, and they will not be treated as guilty. Prophesy to them that they have received from the hand of God twice as many blessings as all their sins” (paraphrase from TPT). She lives in Florida with her husband of 37 years and their dog, Smudge.
