But true obedience isn’t frantic effort. “Anyone who enters My rest also rests from his own work” (Hebrews 4:10). And My command is simple: “Believe in the One I have sent” (John 6:29).
Rest is not passivity; it is surrender.
It is releasing self‑effort and allowing My power to work through you. My Spirit does not drive you with judgment but leads you toward joy and fullness.Imagine laying your head against My chest — cooperating with My desires, My love, My dreams. In that posture, your life becomes beautifully aligned with Mine.My Spirit enhances your true self, filling you with love, peace, and gentleness. Let Me comfort you, heal you, and transform you into a watercourse through which My life flows. This is not losing your strength — it is letting Me amplify it.
Isaiah 64:4: For since the world began, no ear has heard and no eye has seen a God like you, who works for those who wait for him!
Matthew 11:28-30: “Then Jesus said, 'Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
Psalm 23:1-3: The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He makes me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name.
