Resting Where You Are Loved

 

"Lord, my heart is not too high, nor my eyes haughty;

Nor do I involve myself in great matters, 

Or in things too difficult for me.

Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul;

Like a small child resting with their mother;

My soul is like a little child within me --

composed and freed from discontent.

O hope in the Lord from this time forth and forevermore."
