Psalm 145:15-16: "The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time. You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing." |
If a parrot can joyfully feed a dog spaghetti, imagine how much joy I find in nourishing your soul. But are you truly full, or is something still missing?
Just as this parrot takes such delight in feeding “his” dog spaghetti, I love nourishing you—both spiritually and physically. Have you ever felt that unshakable hunger, like something crucial is missing from your life? That’s spiritual hunger, a longing only I can satisfy.
In John 6:53-56, I speak of eating My flesh and drinking My blood. While it’s often associated with communion, this is about something much deeper. It’s about letting My Holy Spirit flow through you, filling you with My very essence. As I said in John 6:35, "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to Me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in Me will never be thirsty." When you feast on My presence, you won’t just feel satisfied—you’ll be transformed.
Take Psalm 23, where the Shepherd leads His sheep to green pastures. Those pastures aren’t just beautiful—they’re sheep food! A symbol of life, grace, and My abundant provision for both body and soul.
Just as spaghetti nourishes this dog (with the parrot's help!), I pour life and grace into you. Here’s a simple exercise to experience this nourishment:
1) Sit quietly and imagine My Holy Spirit flowing into you—like a river of light, life, and renewal.
2) Anchor your thoughts on a favorite verse to stay focused.
Do you have a unique way you “feast” on My presence? I’d love to hear—please share it in the comments!
