I Receive You Just as You Are

 


Even when your emotions are not good for you—anger, hatred, resentment—begin with honesty.

Pour out your heart to Me with complete transparency. Talk to Me like I am the only person you have ever been able to trust. 

I receive you exactly as you are.

I hold you without hesitation.

My heart toward you is tender kindness.

My desire is to help you, not to shame you.

There is no being in the universe more kind, more loving, or more compassionate than I am.

And instead of judging you, the judgment for sin fell on Me.

So do not be afraid to come to Me as you are—even at your worst.
